Whether you're grilling meats, fish, vegetables, or putting the finishing touch on a sous vide-cooked dish, the Kasai Konro style grill brings a touch of excellence to the culinary experience.
More than just a charcoal grill, the Kasai konro uses a natural clay material to optimise heat retention, reflecting heat back into the grill and to the food. As the konro has superior insulative properties, the charcoal burns longer than in conventional cookers, helping to maximise cooking times without having to change or add fuel. The special design of the grill also delivers those searing hot temperatures (up to 350°C) needed to lock in natural flavours without imparting other aromas.
This 50/50 plancha edition includes the stainless steel frame and 50/50 style griddle plate which provides the maximum surface contact while you're searing - perfect for achieving crispy, delicious crusts no matter what you're cooking. Other models with skewers, full size planchas or robatas are also available.
