The iron boasts two hotplates that each produce a 160mm waffle ring, which is divided into four portions. These plates are non-stick and feature a double coating for easy release and simple cleaning. They can also be operated simultaneously or separately, allowing for energy conservation.
The Dualit 74002 double waffle iron is crafted from heavy-gauge, satin finished stainless steel. It comes fitted with non-slip feet and includes a safety override cut-out feature that prevents it from overheating.

If your waffles stick to the plates, it could be because of the type of mix you're using. Waffle mixes with low sugar content can be cooked at higher temperatures, while high sugar mixes require a lower temperature to stop the outside caramelising before the inside has cooked. Using a little spray oil can also help release the waffles too.
